Direct Access allows an individual to go directly to a provider they choose to receive a comprehensive assessment and access care immediately. - Assist individuals with payment options through the Behavioral Health Fund, which allows eligible residents to obtain services free of charge - Individuals looking for substance use assessments should visit: https://fasttrackermn.org/ - Hennepin Health members have access to all programs that accept the Behavioral Health Fund without needing prior approval Other services provided: - Detoxification line for withdrawal management from alcohol and/or drugs. Comprehensive assessments can be done within the first 72 hours. Referrals to community resources for treatment may be provided. - Interdisciplinary team at the Walk-in Center to address needs and connect individuals to long-term treatment and recovery supports

Application process

- Call Behavioral Health Support Unit for information on the Behavioral Health Fund - Individuals who are hospitalized and unable to complete an in-person or telehealth assessment should call Hennepin County's Front Door to inquire about a mobile assessment - Call Detoxification line - Walk-in to Behavioral Health Support Center; use the buzzer at Columbus Avenue entrance for walk-ins after 5 pm

Fee

- None - Private insurance may not cover all or some chemical health services. Services may be paid for with public funding if the recipient is financially eligible. This includes minors, who almost always are eligible if they have private or no insurance.
