It has electrical inspection authority in all areas of the state that have not adopted local authority. Plumbing and Engineering: [email protected], www.dli.mn.gov/workers/plumbers Administers the Minnesota Plumbing Code, performs examinations and issues licenses for plumbing and water conditioning professionals, files and administers plumbing code compliance bonds, reviews plans and does inspections of plumbing system installations in public and commercial buildings Residential Building Contractors: [email protected], www.dli.mn.gov/workers/residential-contractors-remodelers-roofers Licenses residential building contractors, investigates complaints against contractors, administers the Contractor's Recovery Fund and investigates independent contractor complaints.
