Inspection of boilers, piping systems and pressure vessels, and related licensing of operators, pipefitters, and engineers. www.dli.mn.gov/workers/boiler-engineers Construction Codes and Licensing: www.dli.mn.gov/workers/building-officials Adopts and administers the building, residential, accessibility, energy, elevator, manufactures structures and building conservation codes; reviews and inspects state owned or licensed facilities; certifies and educates building officials and license manufactured home dealers. Electrical Licensing and Inspection: [email protected], www.dli.mn.gov/workers/electricians-and-electrical-installers Administers personal electrical licenses over nine classifications and contractor licenses over four classifications. Plumbing and Engineering: [email protected], www.dli.mn.gov/workers/plumbers Administers the Minnesota Plumbing Code, performs examinations and issues licenses for plumbing and water conditioning professionals, files and administers plumbing code compliance bonds, reviews plans and does inspections of plumbing system installations in public and commercial buildings Residential Building Contractors: [email protected], www.dli.mn.gov/workers/residential-contractors-remodelers-roofers Licenses residential building contractors, investigates complaints against contractors, administers the Contractor's Recovery Fund, and investigates independent contractor complaints.
