Responds to emergency and non-emergency calls, enforcing local and state laws, investigating crimes, conducting traffic enforcement, and promoting public safety throughout the community. Its divisions include Patrol, Administration, and specialized units such as the Detective Unit, K-9, Bike Patrol, SWAT, and the Drug Task Force. The Detective Unit handles in-depth investigations for both adult and juvenile cases, while the Support Services Division oversees records management, technology, and public information requests. In addition to law enforcement, the department emphasizes community engagement through programs like Neighborhood Watch and public safety education efforts.
