Description

The Minnesota Department of Human Services provides Refugee Cash Assistance (RCA) to persons with eligible status who are ineligible for Supplemental Security Income (SSI) or MFIP for up to 8 months after arrival in the United States. NOTE: Able-bodied RCA recipients are required to participate in an employment and training program; RCA recipients who are disabled or 65 years of age or older are required to apply for SSI.
