Manidoo Ningadoodem Program - Family Spirit Program - Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe
Program objectives include: - Increased parenting knowledge and skills. - Addresses maternal psychological risks that could interfere with positive child rearing. - Promotes optimal physical, cognitive, social/emotional development for children ages 0-3. - Prepares children for early school success. - Ensures children get recommended well-child visits and health care. - Links families to community services that address specific needs. - Promotes parental and children life skills and behavioral outcomes across the lifespan.

Eligibility
Leech Lake Reservation and the surrounding 25 mile radius including Beltrami, Cass, Hubbard and Itasca counties. - Leech Lake Band Member - Any woman who is pregnant and/or has a child younger than 3 years old can participate. Especially useful for young mothers under the age of 22 or at-risk mothers.
