?Provides legal aid to individuals who rely on cash, food, and medical assistance programs when their benefits are denied, terminated, or reduced. Services may include: - Contacting the county to learn what happened to fix errors - Eligibility requirements for getting benefits - How amounts are determined - Legal advice or representation for programs such as General Assistance (GA), Medical Assistance (MA), MinnesotaCare, Minnesota Family Investment Program (MFIP), Minnesota Supplemental Aid (MSA), Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Supplemental Security Income (SSI), and Unemployment Insurance - Represent clients at appeal hearings like SSI or UI hearings
