Parent Power Advocacy Training - Network for the Development of Children of African Descent - NDCAD

A four-week parent education program that teaches parents to help their children improve reading skills while strengthening the parent's advocacy skills for partnering with schools and teachers. The program helps parents build a strong literacy foundation in the home and understand the important role that reading plays in shaping cultural identity, self-efficacy and confidence about learning.
