Semi-Independent Living Service - Minnesota State Operated Community Services - MSOCS - State Office

Support to persons living in their own homes or at MSOCS operated homes throughout Minnesota. All sites are licensed and follow adult foster care rules. Services are individually based. Training and assistance in: - Community integration - Financial management - Nutrition, meal planning and preparation - Obtaining and maintaining a home - Personal appearance and hygiene - Recreational skills - Self-administration of medication - Shopping - Social skills including appropriate social behavior - Transportation skills - Using phone and other utilities

Application process

County will make a determination of eligibility based on Minnesota statute and then make a referral. A tour will then be arranged.
