Application process
  • Call to leave a message for an application to be mailed; visit website for application
  • Depending upon the area applicant may live in, the wait will be several months or can be over a year
  • If a volunteer dentist agrees to evaluate applicant's oral health, the applicant will be given the information to schedule a consultation. Final acceptance into the program will be made only after the consultation and when the specific treatment needs are established by a volunteer dentist.

Provides comprehensive treatment of donated dental services to eligible patients to help improve the oral health of people who are elderly or permanently medically disabled. All applications must be submitted through a DDS Coordinator. Due to lengthy waiting lists, please check the website for updated information regarding application availability. Note: Veterans can still apply for the program regardless of waiting list status.
