Eligibility

Persons interested in foster care and/or persons looking to become licensed foster care providers who are residents of Pine County - Must live in Pine County - Must be at least 21 years old - Must be free of chemical use problems for at least two years - Must be willing to participate in regular training - Must be willing to permit to check social service and court records - Must be willing to provide child's basic and special needs, including transportation, medical appointments, and school meetings - Must be willing to work with the child's social worker and support child's relationship with their family - Must have enough income to meet your own needs - Must live in a home that meets fire-safety standards and has appropriate sleeping space
