Nutrition Education - Bois Forte Band of Chippewa

Provides individual and group education in 4 basic core areas. Participants learn: - Diet Quality: Planning nutritious, inexpensive meals for families - Food Safety: Handling and storing food to prevent illness - Food Security: Planning healthy meals to fit budgets - Grocery Shopping: Stretching food dollars farther Lessons include cooking classes, demonstrations, shopping trips, games, etc. All food items are provided as well as incentives for attending classes or lessons.
