Community Forestry - Tree Trust
Organizes efforts to increase the urban tree canopy through community and school-based volunteer plantings, municipal tree distributions, and other special forestry initiatives. Community Tree Planting and Volunteer Projects: ?Helps individuals and organizations to organize community tree plantings, and provides them with technical assistance, educational resources, and tools that enable them to design and carry out environmental improvement projects in their communities. ?Learning With Trees: Partners with elementary, junior high, and senior high schools throughout Minnesota to help them create outdoor classrooms on their school grounds that include trees, shrubs, and seating areas.
