Description

Trained volunteer advocates work one-to-one with individuals to help them achieve stability and greater self-sufficiency through services that include: - Accountable relationships - Referrals to community programs and services - Self-development opportunities - Teaching the skills needed for self-sufficiency such as financial management, interviewing, organization, gaining and maintaining stable housing, social skills, self-care, making appointments, and self-advocacy ?NOTE: Participants are expected to make and keep appointments with their advocate at least once a month. Resources are available to support actions taken towards stability goals.
