Helps to reduce the energy costs of low-income families through energy conservation measures, energy education, and an energy audit. Weatherization specifically focuses on assisting low-income people, primarily the elderly, persons with disabilities, and families with children. Whenever possible, weatherization funds are coordinated with other funds to better serve the housing needs of participating households.
