Provides a Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher rental assistance program for eligible low-income individuals and families. Approved participants receive a voucher that helps pay a portion of their rent, with the Housing Authority making housing assistance payments directly to the landlord.- Participants may select eligible privately owned rental housing, including houses, apartments, duplexes, and mobile homes.- Rental units must meet federal Housing Quality Standards (HQS), and landlords must agree to participate in the program.
