Primary services include coordinated entry access point for individuals who are homeless or at risk of being homeless. Case management is offered to prevent future issues with homelessness. Financial assistance may be available but is NOT provided in all situations, requirements vary by programs and funding. Potential assistance consists of: - Funding for housing and utility costs/deposits - Funding for transportation costs via vehicle repair or public transit - Clothing and food assistance as well as other basic needs - Housing stability case management Programs may include: - Limited fund for short term hotel stays in tandem with case management services - Long-term homelessness supportive services in Aitkin, Carlton, Isanti, Mille Lacs, Kanabec, Pine and Chisago County to help with housing search and placement for families and unaccompanied youth - Assistance for homeless ex-offenders in Chisago, Isanti, Kanabec, Mille Lacs, and Pine County, housing placement as well as rent and deposit funds may be available -Transitional housing services for homeless youth ages 16 - 22, as well as some financial assistance for rent NOTE: Funding comes from a variety of sources including the Family Homeless Prevention and Assistance Program - FHPAP and others.
