  • True Friends accept payment from 245D licensed waivers and CDCS; includes, but is not limited to, the following waivers: CADI (Community Access for Disability Inclusion); CAC (Community Alternative Care); DD (Developmental Disabilities); TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury)

Residential overnight camps for children and adults of all abilities Camp activities include:
  • Arts and crafts
  • Camping experiences that enhance independence and self-esteem for children and adults with disabilities
  • Gymnasium, indoor pool, indoor bouldering (climbing) wall, and fully accessible challenge ropes course
  • Nature buildings
  • Network of hiking trails
  • Outdoor shooting ranges
  • Recreation halls
  • Therapeutic horseback riding program includes adaptive riding, hippotherapy, and horsemanship experiences catered to participants' abilities and needs
Programs catering to:
  • Developmentally disabled, such as individuals with Down syndrome or autism
  • Learning disabled, such as individuals with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) or non-verbal learning disabilities.
  • Physically disabled, such as individuals with cerebral palsy or seizure disorder
