Program Fees
Volunteers provide 1:1 mentoring a few hours a week to at-risk youth to help them boost their self-esteem and overall success. Depending on need, volunteers support youth in a variety of settings including at public and private schools, Head Start locations, shelters, and day care centers. Benefits include: - Accident and liability insurance - Meeting new people, learning new things and having the satisfaction of helping others - Non-taxable stipend of $4 per hour. Must serve a minimum of 10 hours of service per week to qualify. - Orientation and ongoing training opportunities - Possible daily lunch on site - Recognition events - Transportation reimbursement to and from service site
