Dislocated Worker Program - DWP - Minnesota CareerForce Locations
Provides employment and training services to workers laid off from their jobs due to no fault of their own often due to such factors as technological changes, investment strategies, and changes in consumption and competition. Services are tailored to meet the person's specific needs, including: - Assisting with job search and placement services - Helping with other services that support the person's career success - Offering one-on-one sessions with a specialist to develop an employment plan - Providing access to short-term training, if approved by the person's specialist
