Eligibility
Adults ages 18 and older who are residents of Anoka, Carver, Dakota, Hennepin, Ramsey, Scott, and Washington counties
Required documents
- Individuals surrendering animals complete a surrender form transferring animal ownership to Last Hope, Inc. Companion Animal Rescue
- Individuals adopting an animal complete an Adoption Contract

Hours of Operation
- Open Saturday or Sunday
- Adoptable animals are provided with veterinary care including spay and neuter services if the animal is old enough (usually around four months) before they are available for adoption
- Foster homes for animals awaiting placement and animals that are too sick or injured to be placed
- Placement of lost, unwanted, and abandoned animals
- Rescues cats and dogs
