Description
The Houston County Auditor/Treasurer administers all federal, state, and local elections in the county. The duties are to oversee voter registrations, absentee voting, recruitment and training of precinct election officials, the printing and counting of ballots, the receipt of nomination papers, and notifying voters of elections. This office will certify election results to the state or political subdivision involved and issues certificates of election to the proper person.
