Description

The Inspections Division is the city office responsible for issuing building permits, performing inspections of residential and commercial property, reviewing building plans, and issuing rental permits. This office works with problems such as plumbing, heating, structural safety, or housing code violations for rental units. The tenant must try and work out the situation with landlord before an inspection is done. The office also provides inspections for owner-occupied residences regarding structural safety issues.
