Eligibility
- Children 18 and younger in the counties of Becker, Douglas, Grant, Pope, and Otter Tail who have been diagnosed with emotional disturbance
- Recipient must have a diagnostic assessment that documents the necessity of the type of mental health service requested including intensity of treatment, medical necessity, and a diagnosis of Emotional Disturbance (ED) or Severe Emotional Disturbance (SED)

Children’s Therapeutic Services and Support (CTSS): Provides therapeutic interventions for children and adolescents whose functioning is impaired due to a mental health or emotional difficulty. Skills training focuses on daily living activities and coping strategies. Outreach services are offered in the home, school, or community to help children and families build skills, regain abilities, and support healthy development.
Children’s Day Treatment Services: Offers intensive daily programming within the school setting to help children improve behavioral, social, and emotional functioning. Services may include group therapy, skills training, family therapy/skills training, and individual therapy as needed.
