Eligibility

Children ages 4 - 18 who experience depression, anxiety, anger, grief, or other emotional or behavioral challenges that interfere with daily functioning and who reside in Carver, Freeborn, Mower, Rice, Scott, or Steele counties

Required documents

Diagnostic Assessment or documentation of Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED) health insurance card parent or guardian information/consent for minors

Hours

8 am - 5 pm Monday - Thursday 8 am - 12 noon Friday

Outpatient counseling for children who are suffering from depression, behavioral issues, anger, or other types of problems: - Anger management - Children's Therapeutic Services and Supports (CTSS) - Co-dependency - Coping with depression/anxiety - Coping with grief and loss - Crisis management - Group psychotherapy - Healthy lifestyle choices - Independent living skills (budgeting, shopping, cooking, and nutrition) - Interpersonal communication strategies - Stress management and relaxation
