Interactive program designed for adults to provide a place to visit, work and have fun together. Goal is to enable adults to continue to enjoy quality lives, maintain independence, and provde a respite for families and caregivers. Provides activities and program that give participants the opportunity to develop confidence, self-esteem, self-expression, and to build on and maintain current living skills. Participants socialize with their peers through a variety of interactive activities and receive assistance with daily needs including:
  • Bathing and personal care foot care
  • Blood pressure checks
  • Blood sugar checks
  • Exercise program
  • Health monitoring services
  • Nail care
  • Weight monitoring health assessments
Social, recreational and therapeutic activities are provided based on the individual's interest and level of functioning including:
  • Baking and cooking
  • Crafts
  • Movies
  • Outings
  • Table games
  • Trivia
Transportation options available. Offers pick up and drop off service in the Cook area. Other options include community based services, local volunteers and family members. Services available on a full-time or part-time basis. Volunteers are needed for driving, assistance on outings, etc.
