Direct Access - Goodhue County Health and Human Services

Direct Access allows an individual to go directly to provider of their choice to receive a comprehensive assessment and access care immediately. The county will assess individuals who need help paying for a chemical use assessment or treatment services through the Behavioral Health Fund. Provides chemical assessments and can refer to local community service providers for chemical assessments or treatment service. Also, directs individuals to visit https://www.fasttrackermn.org/.

Application process

- Call and ask to speak to someone about Direct Access - Individuals with private insurance, contact private insurance to see who is in network with their plan - Individuals with Medical Assistance (MA) or insurance through a prepaid health plan (South Country Health Alliance), are completely covered. Individuals should contact the provider of their choice and make sure they are in network with the individuals' plan for the comprehensive assessment.
