Residents of Hastings Public Schools Independent School District 200 (including cities of Hampton, Hastings, Miesville, New Trier, and Vermillion; portions of Denmark, Douglas, Hampton, Marshan, Nininger, Ravenna, Vermillion, and Welch townships)

Program Fees

  • Offers grants to help eligible households with past due rent and mortgage, utility bills, short-term transportation assistance, school or job-related expenses, and prescriptions- Emergency supplies, laundry vouchers, and clothing are available for individuals experiencing homelessness- Financial assistance follows county guidelines for Emergency Cash Assistance and must resolve the crisis or situation. Individuals can receive financial assistance once within a 12-month period.
