Crime Prevention - Inver Grove Heights Police Department

Neighborhood Watch program enlists the participation of Neighborhood Watch Groups. Goal of the program is to reduce crime in a neighborhood and improve the quality of life in each neighborhood. Involves: - Knowing what to do to make homes and neighborhoods a safe place to live - Neighbors getting to know each other and working together for a common cause - People being trained to recognize and report suspicious activity in their neighborhoods Other services offered: - Curfew information - Premise checks while residents are out of town - Inver Grove Heights Department of Public Safety Domestic Abuse Response Team (DART) assists in investigation for cases of domestic violence, interacting closely with other officers, investigators, prosecutor, women's advocates, court, probation officers, and the community - Identity theft/fraud reporting and resources
