Legal Service - Cass County Attorney

- Responsible for prosecution of all adult felonies, some gross misdemeanors and misdemeanor violations - Presents cases to the grand jury for consideration - Prosecutes all juvenile matters including delinquencies, facilitates mental and chemical dependency commitments, child support collection and some guardianships - Responsible for various statutory duties and most civil matters that affect the county including advising the county board, department heads and employees on employment issues, zoning matters, contracts
