Eligibility
Open to all individuals who meet income requirements; households up to 300% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines; primarily serves the LGBTQ community
Required documents
All documents pertaining to legal issue including any paperwork received concerning the case and the name, phone numbers and addresses of all persons involved. Preparing a written summary of the legal situation will also make the most of the time available with the attorney.

Offers brief legal advice and/or brief services, not representation, provided by culturally competent volunteer attorneys for LGBTQ individuals seeking help with legal matters, including:
  • Name/gender marker changes
  • General civil legal advice, including adoption, child custody, child support, and marriage/divorce. Volunteer attorneys are not experts in civil law but can provide general advice and referrals.
