Auditor and Treasurer Services - Freeborn County Auditor - Treasurer

Responsible for managing county funds and financial records; calculating, collecting, and distributing property taxes for the county, cities, townships, school districts, and other taxing districts; collecting special assessments; maintaining property records; and overseeing various election functions, including voter registration, election judge training, ballots, election supplies, ballot tabulation, and reporting election results. The office also oversees the county's license center as a deputy registrar of motor vehicles.
