Emergency Assistance - EA - Stevens County Human Services

Cash-grant program for families with low incomes experiencing household emergencies. The assistance received must resolve the crisis. Families must use their own money first. The amount of assistance provided might not cover the entire emergency, but it can help. Short-term grant assistance for persons in a financial crisis because of fire, flood, storm, illness, accident, theft, utility shut-off, eviction, foreclosure, moving expense, necessary home repairs, or need for furniture or appliance replacement or repair. NOTE: Client may also be eligible for Emergency General Assistance, and/or Emergency Medical Assistance

- Low income families with children under age 21 and who are residents of Stevens County - The family must have an emergency that threatens a child's health or safety and lack the goods or services necessary to protect the child's health or safety
