Description

Provides early Head Start and Head Start programs. Services provided: - A comprehensive child and family development program for pregnant women and families with children from birth to age 3. Services include weekly home visits by an Early Head Start educator, year-round toddler classrooms in some locations, and access to health, nutrition, and family support services. Families also participate in bi-weekly socialization events that provide opportunities for networking and peer support. Parents are encouraged to be actively involved through volunteering and participation in the Head Start Policy Council. - Provides early learning and care to help young children reach their full potential. Enrolled children receive meals and snacks, along with support for medical, dental, and nutrition services. Offers center-based classes four days per week in a licensed classroom setting, operating September through May.
