Provides assistance and support to veterans and their dependents in obtaining benefits through county, federal, and state programs, including:- Burial and death benefits- Dental and healthcare benefits- Disability compensation- Education and training- Home loan guarantees- Job placement services- Mental health services- Pension benefits- Referral to community resources for homelessness programs, crisis assistance, and more- State Subsistence Assistance: Financial assistance for healthcare insurance premiums, personal needs funds, shelter-associated payments (association dues, homeowners' insurance, mortgage, rent, room and board, and property taxes), and utility assistance (cell phone, electric, gas, internet, propane, sanitation/sewer, and water).
