Provides community safety such as: - Administration and operation of the county jail - Crime prevention and education services to the public - Emergency response services and non-emergency response for police, fire, and ambulance services - Investigation of crimes, accidents, and causes of death - Mutual aid for all other law enforcement agencies in the county and surrounding areas - Patrol county roads and lakes - Searching for missing person - Serves warrants, commitment papers, and court orders - Traffic control
