Vocational Training and Employment Services for People with Disabilities - Minnesota Diversified Industries

Offers employment services for individuals living with a disability to help them navigate employment options that are a right fit for them. The Employment Department of Minnesota Diversified Industries (MDI) is available at all locations and works with each individual to find a match to meet employment goals. Services include: - Career Skills Training: Help individuals build personal and professional development for lifelong career skills - Community Placement Services: The Placement Team works with job seekers and referral sources to find the best employment fit for the individual's skills, abilities, and interests - Job Placement: Offers meaningful work, such as assembling plastic containers, putting together kits for medical companies, and operating packaging equipment - On-the-Job Training: Offers a support team to provide daily coaching, training, goal setting, identify skills/abilities, retain job, and more
