Provides a temporary emergency overnight shelter accommodation for families experiencing homelessness in Hennepin County. It acts as a triage space, resource connection, and diversion point. The purpose of the Family Safe Space in the family shelter system is to provide a resource for families experiencing homelessness to ensure that no child sleeps outside in Hennepin County. Families accessing the shelter have access to showers and hygiene supplies, a clothing closet with clean clothes for children and adults, diapers, undergarments, formula, and meals.
