- Child care referrals: Parentaware.org - Grants to early childhood programs to help fund supplies, equipment, technology, and professional development: - Emergency Grants: May be available year-round to help cover costs associated with emergency situations based on the availability of funding. - Regional Grants: Offered annually and awarded on a competitive basis to child care programs. Applications are available September 1 and must be submitted by September 25 for consideration. - Startup Grants: Available year-round, depending on funding to cover items required to open a child care license and to help cover start-up costs. - Professional Development: Offers educational and training opportunities to Early Childhood professionals and educators, parents, foster care providers, and those interested in the development of children, birth to age 12.
