  • Eligible household income must be at or below 200% of federal poverty guidelines
  • Eligible households must be homeless or at imminent risk of homelessness and in need of financial assistance due to a housing crisis

Bus and Gas Transportation: Bus and gas cards are available for individuals who are experiencing homelessness and in a Housing Registry program or for individuals who are starting a job but haven't received their first paycheck yet.

Food Shelf: The food shelf can be used once every 30-days. Families receive three to five days of food. Hygiene items may be available as supplies last. HeatShare and Seasonal Programs: Provides the Heatshare application program and seasonal services such as Family Camp, back to school program, seasonal programs Housing Hub: Connects single adults ages 18 and over and families experiencing homelessness or at risk of being homeless in Anoka County with a Housing Specialist. Housing Specialists provide housing problem solving and can assist households with practical solutions, identify sources, alternatives, and mediate conflict resolution between landlords, friends, or family. The initial access point to be connected with a Housing Specialist is short-term with a 30-day timeframe. After 30 days initial contact, households with no other pathways identified who meet eligibility requirements can be connected to a Housing Assessor and complete a Housing Needs Assessment. Individuals and families who complete a Housing Needs Assessment will be added to the Housing Registry.

​Family Homeless Prevention and Assistance Program (FHPAP): Funds are only available to individuals and families facing an eviction. Funding varies month to month and may not be available. NOTE: One phone line is set aside for this program. It stays open until there are more than 80 requests per week. Then it is closes until staff are caught up on intakes. When the intakes are caught up, the line is opened again. Individuals should try the phone number a few times throughout the week.

Rapid Rehousing: Provides services for people experiencing homelessness that have found housing.

Voucher Program: Vouchers for clothing (adults and families), and bedding/linens. Provides Bridging referrals for individuals needing furniture.
