Once enrolled in the Parent Support Outreach Program help is provided to at-risk families to avoid future incidents of child maltreatment and to enhance child and family well-being, including: - Comprehensive assessments, early intervention, outreach, and supportive and therapeutic services - Connecting families with county and community-based services - Limited financial assistance for families to meet basic needs

Eligibility

At-risk families with a child under age 10 who are residents of Scott County identified through screened-out child maltreatment reports, community referrals, or self-referrals. Families currently active with Child Protection Services do not qualify.
