Eligibility
Residents of Washington County who are:
  • Fathers or alleged fathers of a minor child
  • Parents of a minor child and if one parent does not live with the child
  • Parents who pay court-ordered child support
  • Have court-ordered, physical custody of a minor child
  • Receiving public assistance for a minor child who lives in their home
Required documents
Application/intake form photo ID verification of asset, income, and identification for each family member

A monthly 15% fee is paid by the parent paying support, deducted through income withholding; vary by service

  • Sliding Scale/Reduced Fee
Establishes and enforces child support orders. Services include:
  • Collecting current and past-due support payments
  • Establishing parentage
  • Establishing and enforcing child support orders for basic, medical, and child care support
  • Locating non-custodial parents
  • Reviews and modifies court orders for support
NOTE: Child Support Services does not provide parenting time, custody, legal advice, divorce counsel, or spousal maintenance establishment
