Provide legal representation and supportive legal services to individuals facing mental health civil commitment proceedings:
-Represent individuals subject to civil commitment proceedings (mental health, developmental disability, and/or substance use disorders, etc.)
-Advocate for discharge from or a change to civil commitment order
-Provide representation post-trial and/or at recommitment hearings-Advocate for civil commitment records to be sealed

We provide legal representation and supportive legal services to: tenants facing eviction, parents and guardians in child protection matters, persons subject to guardianship, parents facing child support contempt actions, individuals facing civil commitment, and individuals at risk for child protection involvement. We provide advice on immigration and represent clients on a variety of applications for immigration benefits.
