Family Court Team - Hennepin County Adult Representation Services
Provides legal advice and representation to non-custodial parents who are delinquent in child support payments and who are facing court action as a result with the goal of achieving stability so that clients can meet their child support obligations. Services include: - Provide an opportunity for non-custodial parents to speak with an attorney regarding why they are unable to pay their child support - Connect clients with services and opportunities - Represent non-custodial parents facing possible jail time because of a contempt of court motion - Represent parents in paternity matters up to the point of adjudication of paternity ARS is not affiliated with the Hennepin County Attorney's office or the Hennepin County Child Support division. Consultations are confidential.
