Day One networks with agencies across the state to provide immediate access to safety and services for those experiencing or affected by domestic violence, sexual assault, or human trafficking. The Minnesota Day One Crisis Line is a central point where advocates can direct callers to the nearest program where they can receive support, information, and safety if needed. Crisis calls are fielded 24-hours. If a survivor contacts a program without available bed space, advocates can connect them to another program that may be able to accommodate them and their family. Advocates work to connect survivors with programs that meet their needs based on primary language, culture, geographic location, and other categories of service.
