Telephone Equipment Distribution Program - Minnesota Department of Human Services - Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services Division
Free phone devices for individuals who are hard of hearing, deaf, deaf-blind, speech impaired or physically disabled only as it relates to using the phone. Equipment provided includes, but is not limited to: - Hands-free speaker phones - Light flashing ringers - Loud ringers - Phones for individuals who have a speech impairment - Phones that enable users to read the callers words on a screen and respond by using their own voice - Special equipment for people who are deafblind - Phones that can make sound louder and clearer - TTYs ? The TED Program will repair or replace equipment that is not working properly or no longer meets the client's needs. If a person is not eligible based on income the TED program can share where they can purchase devices.
