Friendly Visiting and Chore Services - CREST - Caregiver Response Effort and Service Team

Description

Non-professional services provided: - Errand running and shopping assistance - Friendly visiting - Light housekeeping - Meal preparation - Mail management and personal correspondence - Repairs and minor maintenance of home and yard, including snow removal. There is insurance coverage for volunteers during the times they are providing CREST services.?? - Telephone reassurance - Transportation is available for appointments, church, social engagements, and shopping. Request for transportation must be done 2 days in advance and are not wheelchair accessible. Both curb-to-curb and door-to-door service is available depending on need. No fees and donations are accepted. - Volunteers do not give medications, do not assist in transferring sitting to bed, etc.
