Early Childhood Family Education - ECFE - Sleepy Eye Public School District 84
ECFE is a parenting education program for all Minnesota families with children between the ages of birth to Kindergarten entrance. Learning opportunities through ECFE may occur in a variety of settings, such as the families' homes, district or community sites, and online parenting education and support. Programming and education services often include parents/caregivers and children but may just include parents/caregivers. Services may include: - Book lending library - Dad and child programs - Discovery Time Preschool for children age 3 - Early childhood screening for children ages 3 - 5 - Home visits - Information on community resources - Parent-child activities - Parent discussion groups - Play and learn activities for children - Programs for non-English language learners - School readiness program for children ages 4 - 5 years - Single parent program - Special events for the entire family - Workshops on specific topics NOTE: Call for current class offerings and schedule of events

Call; walk-in; visit website Call 794-7873 for newsletter or to register, send check and form (in newsletter) to ECFE, 400 4th Avenue SW, Sleepy Eye, MN 56085. To get to the ECFE room: Enter Sleepy Eye Elementary School Door #2 (near the bell). Go straight past cafeteria, turn left, and go past gym. ECFE door #320 is the second door on the right. Call ahead to verify these directions.
