Eligibility

  • Men and women 18 and older experiencing substance use disorder, sober/chemical free for a minimum of 30 days or a direct transfer from a recognized recovery setting; must be able to work or attend school and participate within a sober living community. Minimum stay 90 days with 3 3-year maximum.
  • Serves residents of Anoka County, Carver County, Dakota County, Hennepin County, Ramsey County, Scott County, and Washington County

- Organized sober housing, a gender-specific living home for adult men and women who have a history of problems with chemical dependency. The goal is to create an environment where individuals can learn and put into practice the sober living skills necessary for making a successful transition to independent living. - Sober housing residents work, attend school, or volunteer full-time and participate in recovery-based activities, while taking an active role in the sober living community. - Estimated length of residency is determined on an individual basis. Requirements include a 90-day commitment with a 3-year maximum stay.
