Supportive Residences for Persons With Special Needs - Volunteers of America Minnesota and Wisconsin
Provides community residential settings and supportive services for adults with developmental disabilities and/or autism. Residences are located in Foley, Milaca, Mora, Princeton, and Saint Paul, Minnesota. The goal of these services includes increasing independence and self-reliance and fostering community engagement. Each home is located in a traditional residential neighborhood and provides community-based services to participants each with their own bedroom. Supportive services include: - Skill development in activities of daily living - Self-care - Sensory/motor development - Interpersonal skills - Communication, behavior programming - Community living - Health care - Leisure and recreation skills - Money management
