Adoptive Foster Kinship Connections - Families Rising

Provides a statewide network of supports for adoptive, foster, and kinship care families that includes: - Online Support: hosts multiple private Facebook support groups that allow parents to share concerns and successes and offer support and advice to one another. To request access to these groups, fill out a survey. - Parent-to-Parent Support: experienced adoptive, foster, and kinship parents provide emotional support, information, resources, and referrals through phone, email, and chat. Reach out to a parent support specialist, click here to find the list on the website. - Retreats: hosts weekend retreats for parents provide training, support, networking opportunities, and time for self-care - Support Groups: hosts regular support groups for adoptive, foster, and kinship families, each facilitated by experienced parents. The groups are currently virtual. Click here for a calendar of support groups. - Youth Support: hosts activities and support groups for children and teens who are adopted or in foster or kinship care
