Eligibility

High school juniors and seniors or post-traditional adults with a high school diploma, GED or post-secondary education who are interested in exploring technical education and readying themselves for college. All applicants must be in good academic standing (2.5 GPA or higher). Primarily serves residents of Anoka, Carver, Dakota, Hennepin, Ramsey, Scott, and Washington counties.

Program Fees

  • No Fee
Provides a cohort-based program that prepares under-resourced individuals for college success, immediate jobs, and future careers. Participants meet once per month then throughout the summer to explore career opportunities, take field trips to local businesses and industries and other recreational outings, and participate in leadership skills exercises, projects in technical fields, and student assessment exercises. Participants may also be eligible for scholarships and other financial assistance if attending Dunwoody College of Technology after program completion.
